Deputy Prime Minister Bill English was in attendance at the opening of Concretec’s new buildings in Bombay on Friday November 4.

Their two new factories and new office building have been three years in the making. The new premises will allow for more local employment.

Owner Justin Braggs credited the employees who have been working while the workshops were being built around them.

Bill English credited the owners Stefan Young and Justin Braggs for their work and commitment in seeing the business thrive over the past 12 years.

Concretec will be continuing to keep to their environmental mantra, have planted fruit trees and have a green area outside their buildings, with plans to include more in the future.

Concretec supply pre-cast concrete products in Auckland and Waikato. They have a production site in Mangere as well as Bombay which also houses their head office.

Waikato Mayor Allan Sanson, as well as Waikato District Council members attended, along with MP for Hunua, Andrew Bayly and Deputy Prime Minister Bill English.


Concretec has grown rapidly to become a significant pre-cast concrete supplier of a full range of reinforced concrete products to the industry and is typically involved with the most prestigious construction projects in greater Auckland.
