Raahui Pookeka – Awesome Huntly Training Program

This program of seven FREE workshops over six months will provide training on the key skills required to lead and manage a successful community group or not for profit organization.

Covering a range of topics including;

  • Training for Volunteers
  • Succession planning and mentoring
  • Event planning and fundraising
  • Governance and financial management
  • Advice on presenting to funders and stakeholders.

The workshops are open to groups in the wider Huntly area including;

Each workshop will be full of tools and practical activities that the participants can take straight back to their organisations and put into action.

Governance and Financial Management.

Facilitated by Sarah Gibb from Community Waikato this FREE training session will help you strategically plan for your community’s future. Designed to give trustees, board or committee members a sound understanding for the role of governance and a framework for what they need to know to be effective board members.
